Orenda Flower Farm is an up and coming flower farm located just off of Route 1 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Our mission is to educate communities about the importance of buying local flowers and supporting their local farmers, one bloom at a time.

Who is your flower farmer?
Have you ever wondered where your flowers come from, or who has grown them for you? This is a question that is often overlooked but so important to consider. Why is it that so many people care so much about where their food is coming from, but will so easily purchase a grocery store bouquet without the same amount of consideration? These are all questions that we at Orenda Flower Farm ask ourselves, and want our customers to think about every time they come across a beautiful bouquet.
Our Practices
Soil. This is the most important part of our operation; without practicing good soil stewardship, our flowers would not be able to thrive. Soil is the foundation that our farm is built upon, quite literally, so why should we act as though it is only useful for holding our plants upright? With the proper nourishment and care, soil can be filled with beneficial nutrients necessary for all plants to grow successfully. So, instead of waiting to see what our plants may need while they are growing, we are making sure that our soil is the best that it can be in order to create a happy, healthy growing environment for our flowers. At Orenda Flower Farm, we strongly believe in working from the ground up, and our soil is the best place to start.
